Bodies in Progress

 

Written and Designed by Janet Zinn, "Bodies in Progress" is a workshop celebrating our individuality. The focus is our relationship with our bodies, and how to let go of preconceived ideas of how we should look and feel, moving towards integration of our natural selves. During the workshop there are discussions, guided imagery, verbal and non-verbal exercises, as well as homework. We examine our relationship to food, our hidden hungers, and how we perpetuate self-loathing. Then the workshop moves towards repair, and ultimately towards reclaiming ourselves. "Bodies in Progress" can be done as a day or weekend workshop or "Bodies in Progress" can be broken into six to eight week groups.
